What is the difference between the Standard and Flash Identity Types?
Updated over a year ago

MirageID allows you to create two different types of Identities - Standard and Flash. These have different use-cases, and are intended for different types of users.

  • Standard - Use this type of Identity if you want to create website accounts that you will use over a long period of time. These Identities are intended to last a long time, and will help you build “reputation” in the Identity.

  • Flash - Use this type of Identity if you need many different Identities, but only for a short period each. This type of Identity lets you “flash” the tracking information and IP Address, and create a whole new set of identifying information as quickly and as often as you need.
