MirageID support is not able to grant access to websites blocked by 3rd-party filters. Please use the MirageID in-browser tools to request access to a blocked site, or contact your Filter company directly.
Introduction
MirageID now supports the following 3rd party filters:
Additional filters will be supported soon!
Currently MirageIDs support of 3rd party web filters is limited to "whitelist" style support. This means that you can choose which websites to allow, and which to block, however, you will not be able to block specific elements or images on websites that are allowed.
Using a 3rd Party Filter with MirageID
Filter support is enabled on a per-Identity basis. This allows you to choose which Identities will be filtered and allowed to be used on filtered computers, and which Identities will not be filtered and not allowed to run on filtered computers.
There are two steps required in order to use MirageID on a computer with a web filter installed. Broadly these are:
Download the version of the MirageID browser that is compatible with your web filter
Enable the filter integration for the Identities you want to use on the computer with the web filter.
These are explained further below.
Step 1 - Download a compatible version of MirageID
You can install more than one version of MirageID on the same computer at the same time if needed.
Each web filter that we support requires a specific "compatible" version of our browser. To download the correct version:
